Yet for many, unexpected challenges can create barriers that make everyday life more difficult. At The Children’s Foundation, we see firsthand how the right support at the right time can change a life, and that is where your generosity makes all the difference.
When you donate to our Make a Difference Fund, you are not simply giving money. You are giving hope, opportunity, and the support that children and families need to move forward. Every child, youth, and family is unique, and every situation is different. Your donation helps provide the opportunity that may otherwise be out of reach.
A gift to the Make a Difference Fund can help cover the cost of emergency housing for a family in crisis, essential supplies for a child, food hampers for those facing hardship, or furniture such as a new mattress to ensure a child has a safe and comfortable place to sleep. It can also provide additional staffing support so a child with extra needs can be included in childcare alongside their peers. Your donation may help cover camp or childcare expenses, allowing children and youth to participate in meaningful experiences while giving parents the opportunity to work, rest, or attend to other family responsibilities.
These supports are more than services; they are opportunities. Opportunities for children to belong, to learn, to build friendships, and to experience the joy and confidence that come from being included. Opportunities for families to find stability, maintain employment, and navigate difficult circumstances with dignity and hope.
Most importantly, 100% of every donation made to the Make a Difference Fund goes directly to supporting children, youth, and families.
