The Key Worker and Parent to Parent Support Program is a community social services support program responding to the needs of children, youth and their families living with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Complex Developmental Behaviour Disorder (CDBC). We believe that services to children and families must be strengths based and that families must be at the centre of their service and actively involved to ensure that supports are collaborative, culturally sensitive, individualistic, flexible, engaging, evidence based and meaningful. All of our services focus on strengthening families and promoting healthy child/ youth development.
Services are available to children ages 0 to 18 years of age and their families who are living in the city of Vancouver. Children and youth referred have a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Complex Developmental Behaviour Disorder (CDBC) or are in the process of receiving one. Services are provided on and off site.
Referrals are accepted from parents, schools, social workers, health professionals and other community agencies.
